OUR STORY
NB Additive was founded to bring clarity to a space clouded by hype.
After years in applications, sales, post-processing, and production, we saw the same pattern: great intentions, confusing choices, and costly detours.
We started NB Additive to change that; by staying small, staying senior, and measuring success in parts shipped, hours saved, and dollars returned.

FOUNDERS
Terre Kautzor, Co-Founder & Owner
Operations and strategy leader with deep experience supporting executive leadership, building scalable business processes, and turning vision into execution. As Co-Founder and sole owner of NB Additive, Terre provides the organizational backbone of the company, overseeing operations, finance, partner coordination, and long-term strategic planning.
Terre brings a disciplined, people-first approach to building the business, ensuring that growth is sustainable, relationships are managed with care, and execution matches intent. Her strength lies in structuring complexity, maintaining clarity across moving parts, and enabling the technical and commercial sides of the business to operate at their best.
Focus areas: Business operations, financial oversight, partner coordination, contract and process management, strategic planning, and organizational execution.
Jens Kautzor, Co-Founder & Principal
Additive manufacturing leader since 2009 with international experience across the U.S. and Germany. Jens has helped job shops and enterprise teams adopt AM, from early prototyping to audited production, by combining engineering pragmatism with a no-nonsense commercial mindset.
As Co-Founder of NB Additive, Jens serves as the company’s technical authority and consulting resource, supporting Terre and the NB Additive team with technology strategy, workflow design, and customer-facing technical guidance.
Focus areas: LPBF metals, post-processing integration (Solukon, AM Solutions, DLyte), safety-driven workflow design, and ROI modeling.
